Why this venue works beautifully
How we’d photograph it
Shoot the chapel stained glass at the angle that drops the colour cast on the floor or pew, not washing across faces. Mid-afternoon ceremonies give the cleanest read.
The Rose Terrace gum canopy is the photographic asset that separates this venue from a stage-set castle. Frame the gums above the couple at ceremony so the canopy is part of the image, not just background.
Get the exterior wide of the castle done before guests arrive. Once parking fills and the foreground gets cluttered with cars, the building loses its standalone read.
If weather pulls you into the Charming Chapel as backup, the small-room scale tightens portrait spacing. Plan for 50mm or wider; longer focal lengths compress the room awkwardly.
