Berth Restaurant and Events is on New Quay Promenade at Docklands, facing the harbour with the city skyline beyond. Contemporary glass-and-water architecture, with the marina directly in front and the whole building oriented to keep the water in view. The room is built to use the harbour, not to treat it as a side feature.

The harbour outlook pulls most of the coverage. Shoot wide through the glazing to capture water, boats, and skyline together; tight interior crops leave the venue's whole reason for being out of the frame. The glass also lights the interior heavily from the exterior, which keeps ambient light clean right through the day.

Docklands itself is walkable and compact, with promenade frontage and built-city angles within a few minutes on foot. Use the promenade for arrival shots and the bridges and cranes for industrial-urban frames that give the coverage variety outside the venue. Pedestrian traffic is always present, so factor that into scheduling.

Sunset and blue hour over the harbour separate Berth from any indoor-only city restaurant. The last 30 minutes of daylight hit the water and the skyline starts picking up artificial light; by blue hour, the glazing turns the interior and the exterior into one continuous frame. Schedule the couple portraits for that 45-minute band.
