How we’d photograph it

Albert Park Lake gives Greenfields a backdrop that other Melbourne function venues structurally lack. Compose wider than tight portrait crops to keep the lake-and-skyline context visible; cropping just to the wedding party loses the venue's identifying setting.

The Lakeside Retreat is a separate building from the main venue. Cover its arrivals separately; the architectural distinction is part of why couples book the smaller-format package and shouldn't get folded into the same shot list as the main hall.

Wind on the open lake drops temperatures faster than the surrounding park. Plan portrait wardrobe (jackets, wraps) for outdoor sessions even on still days; the lake-edge microclimate runs 2 to 3 degrees cooler than the parking lot.
