The trade here is smoothness against character. On-site accommodation and event-ready infrastructure both reduce the logistical complexity that older heritage venues ask couples to solve themselves. Atmosphere is where the compromise shows: the building reads polished, not charming. If genuine heritage character is what the wedding wants, this is the wrong address.
