Why this venue works beautifully
How we’d photograph it
The Post Office Hotel's Dining Hall is a separate warehouse behind the main pub, with cathedral ceilings and exposed beams. The ceiling height is the asset; shoot wide so it registers in the reception coverage.
Vintage pendant lights carry the evening reception atmosphere. Plan the main reception frames around the room's own lighting; flash work against the pendants flattens what they offer.
The private garden terrace handles onsite ceremonies. Build the coverage around it before the guest drinks service takes it over; it's the venue's one outdoor frame.
Coburg's streetscape outside (heritage shopfronts, terrace housing, inner-north texture) extends the portrait coverage. A short walk covers the neighbourhood frames that change the gallery pace.
