The building is service-led and runs as a club first, so wedding functions fit into an existing infrastructure of dining rooms, bars, and accommodation instead of taking over a dedicated wedding space.

The rooftop and upper floors give CBD skyline access that most city hotels don't match at this price point. Shoot from the terrace with the skyline behind the couple in the last hour of light. The city reads better from height than from street level; position matters more than composition here, because the vantage is the variable.

Interior function spaces photograph strongest once the event activates the room. RACV's function rooms are cleanly designed but visually quiet during setup; wait for the guests, the catering, and the lighting design to build atmosphere before shooting the wide interior frames. Early-afternoon empty-room wides flatten the space.

Melbourne CBD sunset light gets chopped by the surrounding buildings, so the usable golden-hour window is shorter and more directional than in open suburbs. Rooftop frames catch the final half-hour of direct sun before it drops behind the western tower line.
